The Gym is a place where body muscles are build, tested and challenged. There are many people who have the need and wish to visit the gym but are limited with their daily work obligations and etc. Crafting the ideal physical look takes place in the gym, yes, but that doesn’t mean that the outside world has no solution for workout. If you look around you you’ll find “workout machines” everywhere. Here is what I am talking about:
Let’s start with the pushups – you don’t need the gym for that; all you need for pushups is a considerable space in the living room enough for a horizontal initial position. Just move a few chairs and coffee tables and you are ready to go. There is a more challenging way to perform pushups in the living room – instead of positioning the body for pushups on the floor, elevate your body by placing chairs underneath your body(the arms and feet will be on the chairs and you’’ perform “air” pushups). Try then, they are quite challenging. You can also try feet up pushups, hinge pushups or diamond pushups.
Leg workout – Squats and calf rises will always be on the menu if you decide o workout in your living room. They don’t require weights or workout machines, just enough space around you.
Arm workout – You can improvise dumbbells with water bottles or filling up gas cans with water. Once you try improvised dumbbells the inspiration will kick in and you’ll be on your way.
Back workout – if you don’t own a pull up bar like the one in the gym, but you do have a big tree in the yard, than grab a strong branch and do morning pushups. Go for a run in the park and there are definitely strong branches there. Some people, for small amount of money, build their own pull up bar in the back yard and do pull ups every day.
Abs workout – The floor is the Abs Master; abs crunches come in all shapes when it comes to using the floor for abs. You get classic crunches, leg crunches, bicycle crunches, V-ups, toe touches, plank, side planks and so on and so on.
