Exercising the right way is very important. Let’s write/read that one again- very important. As mentioned many times before on Train Body and Mind, the body needs proper repetitions and exercises, otherwise it won’t be able to give you the required results. Don’t be ashamed to look in the mirror in the Gym, or think that you are being a show-off if you do that. No! Looking in the mirror while exercising helps you craft the muscles the right way.
The science of exercising and looking at yourself in the mirror is quite simple. The results are positive when you are looking the way you do the repetitions. For example if you are working out your biceps, doing classic curls, it is logical to look in the mirror during a set in order to do it properly. The curl must be in a straight line with your body; the knees must be slightly bent; and the chest must be upfront. You can follow this proper body line-up while looking in the mirror.
Not only looking in the mirror will improve your body posture while lifting heavy weights, but it also serves as a great motivator. Seeing the product of your lifting weight effort “in the flesh” boosts up motivation and self-esteem to the next level.
