The classic push up exercise has been a theme in Train Body and Mind many a times, its variations also; there is a great push up variation with the medicine ball that will defiantly put your push up abilities to the test and push you forward physically.
The body position for the exercise remains the same (lying on the floor, face down you push the body off the using the hands). This time place a medicine ball in front of you , and instead of placing the hands to the floor wider then shoulder position, place them on the medicine ball and do the pushups. Not only it will trigger the chest, but it will trigger the arm muscles more.
Another push up variation with the medicine ball is to do a push up with one hand on the medicine ball and the other on the floor switching hands on every repetition. You remember! Rocky’s (Sylvester Stallone) favorite push up exercise. This will stretch each side of the torso quite good and then put it to a pumping muscle motion.
